GTD Infrastructure

About.

GTD was started by people who ran power plants for a living and got tired of watching contractors miss the small things. We build and restore electrical infrastructure with our own crews — from the first day of site work to the moment the system goes live — with the bench of a power plant operator and the speed of a line crew on storm.

Why we exist.

Most contractors are organized around the project they were hired for, not the system that has to keep working for thirty years after they leave. We are the opposite. We were built by people who had to live with what contractors handed them — and we still think that way.
  • 01
One team from blueprint to power-on.
Our own engineers and crews handle every step — civil work, steel, electrical, and the controls that protect the system. When something needs to change in the field, the people who designed it are right there to fix it.
  • 02
Materials ready when you need them.
We keep transformers, breakers, and conductor stocked at three regional yards. When a project starts — or a storm hits — you are not waiting weeks for parts to ship.
  • 03
    Clean handoffs, every time.
Every project ends the same way: a clear punch list, drawings updated to match what we actually built, and a system that turns on the first time we close the switch.
  • 04
    A power plant operator’s team.
Our parent company, Genover, has run power plants for over twenty years. The engineers, technicians, and generator specialists who came up through that work are on the same payroll as our line crews.
