GTD Infrastructure

The electrical infrastructure around the power plants that feed the grid.

Step-up substations, switchyards, controls and protection systems, and temporary bridge power. We are not a power plant developer — we are the team that builds the electrical infrastructure around them.

What we cover on generation projects.

The electrical work around power plants. When temporary generation is part of the project, we coordinate with our parent company.
  • 01

    Gas turbine packages

Through our parent company, we install gas turbine packages from 2 MW to 60 MW per unit. They are mobile, run on multiple fuels, and can start quickly.

  • 02

    Step-up substations and switchyards

The substation that steps the generator’s voltage up to grid level. Built by the same crews that handle our utility substation work.

  • 03

    Controls and protection

The relays and controls that protect the generator and tie it to the grid’s control systems. Our 24-engineer team handles all of this in-house.

  • 04

    Temporary and bridge power

When utility connections are the schedule bottleneck, we deploy temporary power plants that feed into the substation we are building — so first power lands on the developer’s schedule.

  • 05

    Multi-fuel generator support

We work with diesel, heavy fuel oil, natural gas, and dual-fuel generators. This includes the fuel handling and emissions equipment that goes with each.

  • 06

    Data center and industrial generation

Connecting on-site generation to large loads like data center campuses and industrial facilities — both for grid backup and for primary power.

Two decades of running power plants.

Our parent company, Genover, has been operating power plants for over twenty years. The engineers, technicians, and generator specialists who came up through that work are on the same payroll as our line crews. That experience is why we understand power plants from the operator’s side — not just the contractor’s.
