When the corridor has no road, we bring one.

Helicopter-supported tower work, wire stringing, storm corridor recovery, and hardware swaps on energized lines. Heavy-lift K-MAX and smaller MD500 helicopters through two certified aviation operators we work with regularly.

Where helicopter support pays off.

Difficult terrain, sensitive land, and storm recovery — the situations where ground access is either impossible or too expensive.
  • 01

    Setting steel towers

When ground cranes cannot reach a tower site — because of terrain or limited space — heavy-lift helicopters carry the steel up to crews working at the site.

  • 02

    Stringing wire

Helicopters help string wire across long distances where the ground crew would otherwise need to build extensive temporary roads or cross rivers.

  • 03

    Reaching storm-damaged corridors

When ground access is cut off by flooding, debris, or terrain damage, helicopters get our crews to damaged structures quickly so restoration work can start.

  • 04

    Replacing hardware on energized lines

Helicopter platforms let crews replace insulators and other hardware on energized lines that cannot be taken out of service.

Questions from utility planning teams and prime contractors evaluating helicopter-supported work.

Have a corridor that needs helicopter support?

Tell us about the corridor, the scope, and the timing. We can plan helicopter support into a project schedule, or get aircraft on site within 48 hours during a storm.
