LEAD / 01 CEO

Marco Garza

22 years operating power plants. Founded GTD in 2014 to bring operator discipline to electrical construction.

Marco started in plant operations at a Texas utility, ran turbine maintenance for ten years, and moved into managing generation assets before co-founding our parent company, Genover, in 2008. He founded GTD in 2014 because the contractors he hired as a power plant operator never quite worked the way an operator would.

Dele Okafor

Former transmission and distribution operations leader at two investor-owned utilities. Runs our crews and our yards.

Dele ran transmission and distribution operations at two investor-owned utilities before moving to the contractor side. He runs construction at GTD — the full-time crews, the regional yards, and our storm response.

LEAD / 03 VP ENGINEERING

Sasha Reyes, PE

Substation protection and controls specialist. Certified system operator. Leads our engineering team.

Sasha is a substation protection and controls engineer with 18 years of experience working on schedule-driven energization at utilities and power plants. She leads our 24-engineer protection team and owns the testing and commissioning discipline across all our substation work.

LEAD / 04 VP FEDERAL

Jamie Wen

12 years in federal capture. Leads our federal contracting registrations and prime contractor relationships.

Jamie spent 12 years in federal capture at a large engineering and construction firm before joining GTD to build our federal practice. He owns our federal registrations, prime contractor relationships, and capture across defense, USACE, FEMA, and DOE work.

LEAD / 05 VP SAFETY

Ryan Kavanaugh

Certified Safety Professional. Built our safety program from scratch. Owns the safety culture that lets us bid the work others cannot.

Ryan is a Certified Safety Professional who built our safety program from a blank sheet starting in 2017. Our 0.42 trailing 24-month TRIR is the cleanest in our peer group. He owns the safety culture that makes us eligible for federal and hyperscale work.

LEAD / 06 CFO

Anika Bhatt

Project finance background. Owns the bonding and financial backing behind every large bid.

Anika came from project finance at a power infrastructure investment fund, joined our parent company in 2018, and moved to GTD in 2022. She owns our surety, audit, and the $240 million in bonding capacity that supports every large bid.
